Finishing Options

Atticstore Systems has a number of Finishing Options available to add the finishing touches to you new storage area. They include:

Sellwood Attic Stair treads and inside of the lid coated with polyurethane

Pre-primed lid

Sellwood Attic Stairs come standard with lids unfinished. Pre-priming the lid consists of:

• Filling screw holes
• Sanding back filler
• Two coats of ceiling primer

Pre-priming the lid does not include a top coat of finishing paint as individual homes have differing ceiling colours.

Colonial ceiling battens reattached to lid

Villas and bungalows built in the early 20th century often have decorative ceiling battens, which add to the beauty and character of the home. These ceiling battens can be reattached to the lid of the Sellwood Attic Stair to preserved the aesthetics of the ceiling.
